FAQ

You may have some questions about seeing me as your Nutritional Therapist...

Frequently Asked Questions

I am a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP) awarded by the Nutritional Therapy Association, Restorative Wellness Practitioner (RWP) awarded by Restorative Wellness Solutions, a Registered Yoga Teacher, and I also have a Masters degree in Psychology. I take a holistic approach with all of my clients and we not only address the food piece, but the mental/emotional side of things as well.

For one, I struggled with many of my own health symptoms (see my About page for more details) for years, so I understand just how frustrating and hopeless it can feel to be in that place. I also know firsthand that healing is possible, as I have experienced it myself and now witnessed all of my clients improve their health through Nutritional Therapy as well. In addition to my empathy and understanding for your health concerns, I also have a background in psychology and am a trained yoga teacher. This allows me to really understand the importance of the mind-body connection, and allow my skill sets in these areas to utilized as an additional source of support for clients.

Nope! Actually, all of my services are offered virtually (even to those that live locally). I have found great success using this service model, and it allows clients from all over the world to access these services. It’s a win-win!
Absolutely! It is not necessary to have any serious health concerns in order to benefit from Nutritional Therapy. Many clients come to me and just want to gain a better understanding about which foods to eat in order to feel their best. I also help clients overcome patterns of chronic dieting, learn to get back in touch with their natural hunger/fullness cues, and find types of movement that help them to feel their best. I am incredibly passionate about educating clients on a variety of topics regarding food, movement, mindfulness, stress-management, body acceptance, and more.

Ideally I work with clients for a minimum of 3 months, as Nutritional Therapy provides long-lasting lifestyle changes that can take a little time. Healing does not happen overnight. However depending on your current health concerns and goals, we may work together for a shorter or longer time frame. Visit my Work with Me page to learn more.

Please send me an inquiry through my Contact form. We will set up a free 30-minute into phone call to see if we would be a good fit to work together. I look forward to hearing from you!
